Beginning today (April 3, 2023), face masks will be optional for patients, visitors and workers not performing clinical procedures in dental offices and other health care settings in California per the new guidance from the state Department of Public Health.
You are of course welcome to continue wearing masks, but please bring your own as we will no longer be providing them. We ask that you continue to be proactive in rescheduling your appointment when feeling unwell.
Based on the positive feedback, the privacy screens dividing the clinical chairs will remain in place, which does limit our ability to accommodate families in the back. We ask family members to continue to wait in the waiting room for updates, unless otherwise instructed by our clinical team, or if you have made a special request. The brushing station will also remain closed at this time–please continue to brush your teeth prior to coming to the office.
