Thank you for your interest in joining our family at Hillside View Orthodontics! Prior to your initial visit, our Treatment Coordinator will email you the confidential new patient forms. In order for us to better assist you, please complete and submit the forms ahead of time. If you prefer to print out the forms, please access them below and bring them with you to your appointment. We look forward to welcoming you to our office!
YOUR FIRST VISIT
Your first visit to meet with us can be an exciting time. Just thinking about a new smile can boost your self-esteem! During your first visit, you will have the opportunity to become familiar with our office while learning more about the many treatment options and services we provide for our patients. Dr. Ikeda will perform a thorough examination to determine whether treatment is necessary, which treatment best fits your needs, and when treatment should start. We treat our patients as our own family, and you will have comfort in knowing that we will never recommend treatments that are not necessary.
Every member of the Hillside View Orthodontics team is committed to making your experience with us positive and fulfilling. We believe that your comfort is vital to the success of your treatment. Once you schedule your new patient examination, you’ll receive an introductory letter from our Treatment Coordinator, along with a confirmation of your appointment. Please complete the new patient forms prior to the appointment so we may better assist you.
During your first visit at Hillside View Orthodontics:
- You will meet our friendly Treatment Coordinator, who will take time to get to know you.
- We will take digital photographs of your face and your teeth so Dr. Ikeda can easily show and explain the findings to you later.
- Dr. Ikeda will perform a thorough clinical examination to evaluate various aspects of your mouth, facial balance/growth, jaw joint health, and breathing problems.
- There will be ample time to ask questions and address any orthodontic concerns you may have.
- Together, we will review the preliminary findings from the clinical examination using the photographs as visual aid.
- You will find out if you are a good candidate for orthodontic treatment and whether it’s the right time to start.
- If you are ready for treatment, we will give you an idea of what the treatment may involve, roughly how long it may take, as well as an approximate cost for the treatment.
- The final treatment plan will be solidified after obtaining additional diagnostic records (such as digital radiographs and 3D models) so that Dr. Ikeda and her team can carefully craft an individualized treatment plan that will meet your unique orthodontic needs.

Our office is located two blocks south of Montclair Village in the Village Square at Montclair. There is complimentary reserved parking for our patients on the second level, adjacent to our office.
There is also 2-hour parking available on the lower level parking lot.
